Hat Project - Dracula Castle Top Hat

I share with you my work in progress in weird gothic vampire fashion.
this hat features my interpretation of Dracula's castle.... all wearable and that.
just the perfect accessoire for a vampire ball...

the almost finished hat. yet I think the castle needs to be darkened a bit more...

work in progress:

I cut the single parts of the castle from very strong cardbord and glued and sewed them to the hat.

black paint at the base after I covered the pieces with paper scraps.

painting is finished, now I finish the edge with satin ribbon, add bow, roses and feathers and such...

Lack of space is my big problem. there is very little room for sewing and crafting. now I've made up my mind to this impossible task of reorganizing everything. my desk is ladden with things, supplies, tools... and I am trying to move them onto shelfes. they end right under the ceiling but still...
